Hello guys and thanks for choosing to read more about me. By now, you should already know that my name is Jesse Smyth and I'm basically a teenager who is going places. I live in the booming city of sails, known as Auckland, located in the greatest country in the world New Zealand. On 1st May 2004, I launched my first personal website on a crappy old Tripod server which was covered in Google Ads, Table layouts and very limited space. 4 years later and the site is still going and is used as a experimental ground for me and the public to view my development in this Web 2.0 universe.
In Early 2004, when I was still 13, I became fascinated that normal people like you and me could create websites that could actually go on the internet. With that I learn't the very basics of HTML and produced a web page with Times New Roman text and a bright blue background with a bouncing GIF ball on the page. It was childish and I thought I was professional then but I have learned from past designs to make better ones and experiment with new technology and tah-dah. My Skills are XHTML, Actionscript 2.0, PHP, Javascript, Web Analysis and many other things. I don't get into the other areas of IT because the web is the best. Trust Me. I'll be big in a couple of years I promise.
In other stuff... I'm also the Forum Manager at ZoomCities, an IT community with focus on those starting and those who a veterans in their IT field of choice. They also offer a lot of free stuff including Free Hosting so get yourself there after reading this page. When it comes to gaming, I hate Starcraft. The only game you will ever find me playing is Microsoft Flight Simulator. It is the best Simulation game on the planet. I fly a Boeing 737-800 and a Bombardier Dash 8- Q300, both in Qantas Livery, with my hub based in Sydney, NSW, Australia. My DVD collection is impressive. I have titles ranging from Family Guy to Fawlty Towers. And Wallace And Gromit to The Shining. In my Music collection you fill find such artists as Powderfinger, Eskimo Joe, Something For Kate and Radiohead.
Thats all for now. Thanks for visiting my site, if you want to talk more then you can jump to my Contact page. Shot!
